Condition:
Excellent color and impression. Some toning on back side. Has been stored away from light since the late 1940s.

Notes: Note the five o'clock shadow on the older fisherman, the famous row of 1000 pine trees along the Izu shore, the yellow tail tuna and bright yellow line at the base of the lavender Mt. Fuji. The gaily colored celebration kimono are appropriate for the bounteous catch. There are lucky emblems of pine, bamboo, and plum designs, as well as characters for 'bonito' and 'miraculous catch.' Gauffrage embossing is present in their garb as well.
